Dullness
A tired-looking complexion may involve dryness, surface texture, pigmentation or several factors.

Personal to you.
Mesotherapy describes a technique of delivering small amounts of a formulation into the skin. It is not one standard ingredient or product. Brightening and hydration claims depend on the exact formulation, evidence and your diagnosis. At MICHIKO, the first step is to identify the skin concern and discuss the proposed product, expected benefit and risks.

The exact formulaMICHIKO · YOUR QUESTIONS, EXPLAINED
MICHIKO’s mesotherapy guide describes formulations that may contain ingredients such as vitamins, amino acids, antioxidants or hyaluronic acid. These are categories, not confirmation that every formula contains the same ingredients or has the same evidence. Small injections can place a selected formulation into the skin; product choice, injection depth and technique are matters for the treating doctor. Ask to see the exact product, intended use and relevant local registration.
The starting concern may be dehydration, dullness or uneven-looking texture. Mesotherapy should not be assumed to treat every kind of melasma, acne or rash. Active infection, an allergy to an ingredient, pregnancy or breastfeeding and some medical conditions can change whether treatment is appropriate. Bring a list of medicines and supplements; do not stop a prescribed medicine on your own.
Some changes in hydration or appearance may be noticed earlier than changes in pigmentation. There is no single reliable “3–7 day” result or “1–2 month” duration for every mesotherapy formulation. Swelling soon after injection is not evidence that the skin has produced new collagen. Agree on a review point and what improvement would count as worthwhile before committing to repeated visits.
Tell the doctor about prior injectables, allergies, recent skin reactions and upcoming travel. Temporary bumps, redness, tenderness or bruising may occur. Follow the product-specific advice on cleansing, makeup, exercise and sun exposure. Avoid rubbing or self-massaging unless instructed. Worsening pain, spreading redness, fever or persistent nodules need prompt review; sudden vision symptoms or severe pain require urgent medical care.
WHY MICHIKO
Dr. Gift and our medical team focus on the skin concern and the exact formulation. At MICHIKO, discuss the proposed ingredients, alternatives and a review point so that repeated injections are a considered decision rather than an automatic routine.
Describe what has changed and what you hope to improve. The assessment comes before a programme recommendation.
LISTEN
Compare the approaches that fit your assessment. Understand what each can improve, where its limits lie and whether a simpler first step would suit you.
ASSESS
Discuss the exact method or product, expected benefit, limits, risks and total cost. There is time to decide and room to choose a simpler plan.
PLAN
Know your aftercare, review timing and how to contact the team. Your response helps shape the next step.

Follow the instructions for the exact product used. Temporary redness, swelling, bumps or bruising may occur. Avoid rubbing or massaging unless specifically advised. Contact the clinic for worsening pain, spreading redness, fever or persistent lumps; sudden vision symptoms or severe pain require urgent medical care.
Agree on a review point and the change you are hoping to see. Your response, side effects and priorities should guide the next step. Ask for a clear quote covering the proposed product or method, quantity where relevant, and follow-up.
BEFORE YOU VISIT
The terms are sometimes used loosely. Ask for the exact product and intended purpose; ingredient lists and evidence can differ substantially.
No permanent result should be promised. Pigmentation needs a diagnosis and ongoing sun protection; melasma may recur.
The formulation, treatment area and planned number of visits determine the quote. Ask for the product name and total proposed cost before choosing a course.
