Concerned that your face looks fuller after repeated filler treatments? Explore a consultation for Facial Overfilled Syndrome at MICHIKO Bangkok, with attention to your overall proportions and treatment history.

A THOUGHTFUL START
Facial Overfilled Syndrome describes an appearance of excess facial volume after filler. If your features feel less defined or different from what you intended, it is worth reviewing the whole face and the history behind it.

ILLUSTRATIVE AREAS · PERSONAL ASSESSMENT COMES FIRST
The concern may involve volume, support, skin or previous treatment. Looking at the whole face helps explain which area needs attention.
THE CONCERNTell Dr. Gift and our medical team what has changed and what you want to retain. Examination considers tissue, movement and treatment history.
THE CONNECTIONAsk what the proposed treatment can change, what it cannot and how the result will be reviewed. Choosing to wait is also an option.
YOUR PERSONAL PLANWHEN FILLER CHANGES YOUR FEATURES
Choose a concern to help put your thoughts into words. Fullness or swelling alone does not establish the cause.
MICHIKO · CORRECTIVE CARE
This client’s photographs show previous filler, the face after dissolving and the result after a new filler plan. MICHIKO reassessed the under-eye and cheek relationship before rebuilding support, instead of adding to the existing fullness.

The three stages show why correction begins with reassessment. Removing previous filler creates a clearer starting point; subsequent refinement is planned around the features that need support. The final photograph follows both stages of care.

This sequence follows a staged filler correction at MICHIKO. The doctor first considers the material already present, then reviews the face after dissolving before deciding where a new plan may help.

A CLOSER LOOK · MICHIKO
Excess volume, facial movement and a staged correction plan.
Choose a topic, or keep reading.
The concern. The cause. The possibilities.
Facial proportions, tissue thickness, product properties, placement and remaining filler affect how added volume appears. Overfilling is assessed in the context of the whole face and its movement, not by a universal number of syringes.
To reduce the chance of repeating the problem, keep a treatment record, compare consistent photographs and reassess before adding more. Correction may be staged; dissolving and immediate refilling are not automatically the same appointment.
Repeated top-ups without reviewing earlier filler can gradually change facial proportions. Track products, amounts, dates and comparable photographs so the next decision starts from the whole treatment history. A new line or shadow does not always mean volume is missing.
Correction may involve waiting, selective HA dissolving or a staged plan once the material and tissue are understood. Dissolving has its own risks, including swelling, bruising and allergic reactions. Refill timing follows recovery and reassessment, rather than an automatic date or a plan to replace every dissolved syringe.
Know what comes before and after.

The original collage illustrates lumps and uneven contours after filler. A visible lump does not establish its cause: product position, swelling, inflammation or another issue may need to be distinguished by the doctor.

Tell the doctor about medicines, supplements, allergies, medical conditions, pregnancy or breastfeeding, and any infection or irritation near the area. Ask about the intended product, alternatives, cost and follow-up before consenting.
Some medicines and supplements can affect bruising or bleeding. Do not stop prescribed medicines yourself; any change should be agreed with the prescribing clinician. Ask the clinic about alcohol, exercise and other preparations relevant to your appointment.
Follow your treating doctor’s instructions for skin care, activity, pressure on the area and the timing of other procedures. Mild swelling, tenderness or bruising can happen. Avoid firm massage unless the clinician specifically advises it, and ask how and when to use a cool compress.
Contact the clinic for increasing swelling, persistent pain, redness, warmth or a new lump. Severe unusual pain, pale or dusky skin, or vision changes need immediate medical attention. Keep the urgent contact details and attend the agreed follow-up; an early swollen photograph is not the final result.
THE VISUAL GUIDE
This Thai guide introduces assessment before dissolving. The key questions are what material was injected, where it is located and what is causing the problem. Hyaluronidase is used for hyaluronic-acid filler; an unknown or non-HA material needs a different assessment.

WHY MICHIKO
Dr. Wisuttiya Boonsom, known as Dr. Gift, leads the MICHIKO medical team. Our approach brings your concerns, previous treatments and priorities into the same conversation.
Bring your story. Ask how the proposed plan relates to your own starting point.
Discuss alternatives, limits and follow-up with the medical team.
YOUR CONSULTATION
Your priorities may change as you understand your options. The plan should leave room to review, pause and decide together.
Tell us what changed and what matters to you. Earlier photographs and a timeline of treatments can help guide the conversation.

Your doctor reviews your face, previous treatment details and health history. This is the time to discuss any symptoms as well as your aesthetic goals.

Talk through the proposed approach, alternatives and limits. Agree on what to address, what to leave alone and what needs further assessment.

Leave with a clear next step, an understanding of costs and a follow-up plan. You can ask more questions before committing to further treatment.

BEFORE YOU VISIT
No. Appearance alone cannot explain the cause. Tell your doctor when you noticed the change, which areas were treated and whether you have swelling or discomfort.
That is a question for your individual assessment. Discuss what you want to preserve, which areas concern you and the limitations of each proposed option.
There is no single timetable for every case. Ask the doctor about proposed stages, review appointments and what would make the plan change.
An exact return to an earlier appearance cannot be promised. Discuss what is realistic for your face now, including possible changes in contour and remaining concerns.
Hyaluronidase breaks down hyaluronic acid (HA) filler. Other materials, including permanent fillers, need a different assessment and may be difficult to remove.
The cost depends on the area, material and proposed care. Ask the team for a breakdown after your assessment, including any follow-up or further sessions.
