Sculptra contains poly-L-lactic acid. The Karisma manufacturer describes a formulation containing recombinant collagen, high molecular weight hyaluronic acid and carboxymethyl cellulose. Made Collagen is a different named programme; the exact formulation, evidence and intended use need to be discussed on their own terms.

Are all collagen injections fillers?
No. The ingredients, purpose, tissue effects and ability to reverse a treatment differ. Ask for the exact product name rather than assuming that all “collagen” treatments behave alike.
Can collagen treatments replace a surgical lift?
